Awakening

Awakening by Lexi Sundell

Awakening shows two blooms of an amaryllis with more buds yet to open. The dark background brings the radiance of the flowers into their full power and grace. They glow with a blazing yellow light which spreads into the soft textured white petals. The bluegray shadows add a touch of mystery as one gazes into the depths of the painting.

This painting, 54 inches wide and 36 inches high in acrylic on canvas, has been sold but giclee prints are available for your enjoyment in your home or as a gift.

    Hi Lexi,

I’m looking at all of your beautiful art, and must say, I really love this piece. The black background sure makes the flowers “pop”.

    WOW….you’re good!
